A Sullair-based, diesel-engine-driven Zone 2 air compressor certified to DNV-GL 2.7-1, built around a water-cooled Cummins 6BT5.9-C engine with full ATEX Zone 2 protection and shutdown safety systems.

  • Diesel Cummins 6BT5.9-C, 4-cylinder, 100 kW engine, Zone 2 water-cooled
  • Electrical starting system; Diesel Engine Protection to EN1834-1 / ATEX 94/9/EC
  • Water-cooled exhaust manifold and heat exchanger for T3 = 200°C
  • Inlet flame arrestor for IIB operation; exhaust flame arrestor and spark arrestor
  • Inlet shutdown valve and fuel shutdown
  • High water coolant temperature shutdown at 100°C
  • High exhaust gas temperature shutdown at 200°C (T3)
  • Low oil pressure shutdown at 0.8 bar; overspeed valve shutdown
  • Ex Zone 2 control enclosure; powder-coated steel, corrosion and scratch resistant
